National Engineering Awareness & Recruitment (NEAR)

The goal of the National Engineering Awareness & Recruitment (NEAR) program is to provide high-school students accurate information regarding engineering as a profession, and presenting this profession as an exciting career choice. This program is used to promote engineering specifically, although the presentation strategy is left completely to the presenter.
