Welcome to the website of the Purdue Student Engineering Foundation! PSEF is one of Purdue.s most active and recognized student-run organizations on campus. We are a group of
highly motivated, fun-loving Purdue students who have made it our mission to share our enthusiasm for engineering to prospective Purdue students. I am very honored to be President
of such an active organization and privileged to work with such an amazing group of people.
I hail from Lexington, Kentucky and came to Purdue because of its reputation as an engineering school. Although I was not exactly sure which engineering field would be the best
for me, Purdue's first year engineering program helped me to realize that a degree in Chemical Engineering would get me to where I would like to be. I also joined PSEF my first
year in order to get more involved on campus. Now, some of my best friends and greatest mentors are PSEF members and it really has helped make Purdue my "home away from home."
The Purdue Student Engineering Foundation is often called the "face of Purdue" thanks to our many successful outreach programs. Every year we introduce more than 3,000 students
to our engineering facilities through tours and student panels. We also assist more than 400 first year students each year in acclimating to Purdue through the Engineering 104
class. Each Spring PSEF hosts a scholarship event called EXPO for high school students which allows them to get a better understanding of what an engineer does while having fun and
seeing our campus. Along with all of this PSEF also strives to maintain connections with engineering alumni to both keep them up to date with current events at Purdue and to
maintain strong connections within industry.
As a student run organization, PSEF's success lies in its members. We are a group of 50 determined, hard-working, dedicated and motivated engineering students who, most
importantly, are proud to be called boilermakers. We focus on promoting a further understanding of engineering and its role in society--specifically promoting the quality and
breadth of Purdue's engineering programs. We also develop meaningful faculty, industry and student interaction and strive to make a difference here at Purdue University.
Feel free to browse through our website to find out more about our programs, our teams, and about our family of members. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to
